Resident Evil 2 Remake redefined what a ‘remake’ could be. For players new to the game, this was a meticulously crafted survival horror experience that felt completely in step with the genre in 2019, while veterans got to enjoy a lovingly crafted piece of nostalgia that felt like the game they remembered from 1998 best visa casinos. It trod a brilliant tightrope, capturing the inherent weirdness of the original while updating the control scheme to a fluid over-the-shoulder camera far more suited to the way we play games today. IGN’s Top 100 games list encompasses the best of the best throughout history, spanning generations of consoles, PCs, handhelds, and more. Our list last saw a major update back in 2019, and since then, there have been several games released that deserved to be added. Just as importantly, we looked at the totality of the top 100 as it stood and asked ourselves a few key questions. This lead to some beloved games dropping off, and other games we previously missed being added.
The “weird one” in the Elder Scrolls repertoire, Morrowind marked the first time Bethesda Game Studios ported one of its gargantuan RPGs to console. At 20 years old this year, Morrowind doesn’t have any of the quality of life improvements that came with later releases, but it also offers one of the most fluid and open-ended versions of its maker’s sandbox vision.

Freeman had sat out Game 6 of the NLCS because of the ankle sprain. He’s not as bad off as Gibson was when he was relegated to the Dodger bench with a pulled left hamstring and swollen right knee in ’88, but he really needed those four days off between rounds.
Orel Hershiser — World Series champion (and MVP) with the Dodgers in 1988 — brought out the ball for the mound for the ceremonial first pitch ahead of Game 1. That year he won the NL Cy Young Award after leading the NL in wins.
Game 2 world series
While Freeman celebrated the first walk-off slam in World Series history by pointing his bat toward the sky and releasing it like a mic drop before starting his trot, it was third baseman Max Muncy’s bat that went flying through the air.
Dodgers: With the Yankees starting a left-hander in Game 2, things will look a little different for the Dodgers. Tommy Edman, who is much better against southpaws, will move up in the order and Gavin Lux will not start for the Dodgers.
Top of the sixth: Gleyber Torres and Juan Soto grounded out and Yoshinobu Yamamoto struck out Aaron Judge for the second time. Yamamoto has retired 10 straight batters and has allowed just one hit (Juan Soto’s home run in the third) over six innings.
Dodgers outfielder Tommy Edman just hit a solo home run off Carlos Rodón into the left-field stands. The Yankees starter rebounded with no further damage and made a nice play off the mound to end the inning.
